2024

The Wine

Sauvignon Blanc born in the Pyrenees, in Talarn, where thermal amplitude defines the rhythm of ripening. Here the variety sheds its exuberance to find precision.

The 2024 vintage was crafted seeking tension and texture: one part with skin maceration to provide structure and depth, and another vinified on lees to refine the palate volume. The 10 months aging in French oak barrels does not seek prominence, but rather to integrate and organize the wine's energy.

TASTING NOTE

Appearance

Pale yellow with golden reflections, clean and bright, with slight density in the glass.

Nose

Layers emerge: ripe white fruit, citrus peel, and fine herbal notes. Maceration provides a slightly spicy nuance and a sense of greater depth. The oak influence is subtle, with very integrated hints of toasted bread and dried fruits.

Palate

Precise entry, with an acidity that sustains the entire journey. There is volume, but contained, developed from the lees. The texture envelops without losing tension. Long, clean finish, with a saline and slightly bitter persistence that invites another sip.

PERSPECTIVE

Person

A perspective that understands wine as an exercise in restraint.
The aim is not to amplify the variety, but to refine it.

Here, Sauvignon Blanc is crafted with precision, verticality, and texture. Far from exuberant, closer to the essential. A wine that doesn't impose itself, but lingers.

TERROIR

Location

Pyrenees, Talarn (Pallars Jussà). High-altitude vineyard in a landscape with a clear Pyrenean influence, where ripening progresses slowly and nights cool the day's pace. Thermal amplitude preserves acidity, sharpens the aromatic profile, and allows for a clearer and more serene expression of the fruit.

Climate

Continental, dry, and luminous, with strong day-night contrast. This thermal oscillation favors tension, definition, and length.

Soil

Calcareous base, natural drainage, and low fertility. A soil that limits excess, orders vigor, and pushes roots deep.

Topography

Altitude, slope, and exposure as factors of precision. Here the landscape doesn't just accompany the wine: it determines it.

Variety

Sauvignon Blanc interpreted with a less exuberant and more structural register, where freshness is not just aroma, but form.

Natural Environment

Forest, stone, dry air, and mountains. An ecosystem that surrounds the vineyard and leaves a sensation of freshness, austerity, and mineral pulse in the wine.

CRAFT

Method

The winemaking starts from an idea of blending two interpretations of the variety.
One part works with skin maceration, providing relief, matter, and a slight phenolic dimension. Another part is aged on lees, seeking volume, cohesion, and a more enveloping texture.

The 10 months aging in French oak barrels is not intended to mark the wine, but to organize its energy, support the structure, and accompany the lengthening of the palate.

The result is not the most aromatic Sauvignon Blanc, but a more complete one: fresh, yes, but also tactile, serious, and persistent.
